Custodian for Property Services

Property Services is responsible for a wide range of custodial services within the municipality that change with the seasons. We manage Trosa municipality's recreational facilities, patrol certain municipal properties, remove graffiti, perform forest clearing, maintain green areas, and more.

WHAT DOES YOUR MISSION INVOLVE?

As a custodian with us, you will perform internal services within the municipality's various operations. Your tasks will include assistance with moving and transport, vehicle maintenance, setting up shelves and minor constructions, maintaining ice rinks, managing our recreational facilities, swimming areas, forest care, and similar tasks. We also deliver internal mail throughout the municipality.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You who are applying have:

• high school education, specializing in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, property services, or other areas within the ROT sector
• work experience within the ROT sector
• driver's license B (Manual)

It is advantageous to have:

• Groundskeeper training
• Ice machine operator training
• Ice maker
• Clearing and chainsaw certification
• license for heavier trailers BE

Your natural social skills, interest in people, and ability to collaborate fit perfectly in your role where you will meet many different employees in the municipality's operations. You are service-oriented, skilled in craftsmanship, and quality-conscious. You excel at creating team spirit, contribute to a good atmosphere in the group, and have an understanding of different types of people, but you are also used to working independently. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The work involves periods of high workload, and you can perform well even when the pace increases. Heavy lifting is involved, which requires sufficient physical fitness.

Some weekend work may occur depending on the season.
